When something that you were so hoping for does not go the way you want it to, it's dissappointing.

What happen yesterday made me frustrated, super sad and very, very dissappointed.

Not at the person who went through it but at the situation as a whole.

Why can't it go the way we had planned it to be?

Wouldn't that be easier for everyone?

They would get what they were looking for and we would get what we were hoping for.

So the best way I handled the situation was to ... cry and talk it out.

Cried my eyes out and said all that was on my mind.

But I knew someone else had to be my listening ear because he was as saddened by the whole issue as I was - probably even more.

Confiding in each other was just out of the question.

The last thing we wanted was a quarrel.

But the advice given to me made me think.

You do have everything, Liz.

Maybe what you were hoping for is not meant for you - for now at least.

Maybe ALLAH s.w.t has something better planned.

The last thing you need to is pressure that you are not being a good mother just because you baby is not waking up for his/her 7am feed.

I hate being alone!

I know that I should appreciate the fact that MyBudakTapai has a stable job and I do.

Trust me when I say that I am really grateful.

But there's another side of me that wishes his working hours are normal office hours.

It's just that being alone at home on weekends is not exactly fun anymore.

It can be quite hard to plan certain things because he does not have a definite "weekend" like everyone else.

When I'm at home on weekends, he has to work.

It's worse when his night shift falls on weekends, which basically means that he comes home at 2am!

Okay, okay, I should not be complaining if I am really grateful, right?

*deep breaths*

It's not that I am blaming him.

I mean, that would not be fair, would it?

It's not his fault that his working hours are such.

Maybe it's time for me to grow up and accept reality.

I mean, I console myself by remembering other unfortunate people who are jobless and struggling to find a job so they can pay for their monthly (or even just daily) expenses.

Here I am, blessed with a wonderful life, and I am complaining and throwing tantrums.

I just hope BamBim does not follow me on that. Heh..

I am now in love with Domino's Pizza!

There was no delivery charge, food was delicious and best of all, it arrived super-fast!

Our food came slightly less than 30 minutes after making the order - and the pizza guy was friendly!

What more can you ask for?!

From now on, it's going to be Domino's Pizza for me.

School starts when..?

You will not believe what happened to me.

In fact, I cannot believe it myself!

I actually mixed up the date of my first day back to school!

Last Tuesday, my (teaching) partner gave me a missed call while I was in the shower.

I actually intended to do a little yoga after that but ended up calling her back first.

She answered the call sounding worried, which caught me by surprise.

Well, I would be worried too if everyone else had no idea where your (teaching) partner was!

I thought she was joking when she told me that school has started on Wednesday!

What!?!?

Why the hell did I think it was starting on Thursday?!?!

Imagine the shock!

Seriously, what the heck was I thinking?!?!

Till today, I'm still laughing at myself.

Lower Back Ache

Finally!

Finally, I have found THE solution to sooth my annoying pregnancy backache.

I tried it once and it worked and so I have not stopped doing it.

Every night before going to sleep, I will need to do my stretch and massage.

Well, actually, MyBudakTapai does the massage. Hehe.. (well, he DOES have a part in this whole backache, no?)

I was too tired the other day and went straight to sleep without doing my normal backache-relieve routine.

I woke up the next morning with an excruciating backache that made me walk like an Eqyptian an old grandma.

Sakit nak mampos!

So from then onwards, there is no way I will forget my routine.

Aim right!

I have now officially set up camp in my bathroom.

Okay, I'm exaggerating but thruth be told, I might as well be doing just that.

Moving to my bathroom, that is.

I had to pee every 5 freaking seconds!

MyBudakTapai called me Mother Hen.

Kurang asam punyer budak!

Because my bum-bum would occupy the ENTIRE toilet seat and every single time he turned around, he can expect to find me sitting on it and guess what I'll be doing?

Peeing, of course!

So the next time I go missing, just search for the nearest toilet and that's where you'll find me.

Today is my lazy day.

No scrubbing, no sweeping, no cleaning.

All I did was cook my chicken curry (Yes, I can cook now - some dishes at least. Alhamdullillah).

And that was the only real housework that I did.

I can really get used to this.

Nothing beats enjoying some ME time with a clean house.

And the best thing is, it's raining.

Hmmmm......Love it!

The only thing I'm missing is a cup of double hot chocolate.

Blissful Life

It was just 4 years ago when I (almost) accepted the fact that I might possibly end up alone.

Though being single (back then) and going on numerous dates could be quite fun but at the end of the day, it was pretty lonely.

So now that I am finally settled down and looking forward to being a parent soon (Insya ALLAH), I feel like I am at the best place in my life.

I have everything that I thought I was not able to get.

Loving families, a home-owner, a beautiful pregnant bump and most of all, my caring, silly husband.

Setting up an online business is (relatively) easy

Setting up a business and making quick profits by fooling people is even easier, it seems.

There is yet another product that may seem harmless from the outside but you have to dig deeper to realize that cheap is not always good.

I got a forwarded email the other day about harmless looking hair ties that were made of used condoms!

Can you believe it?!?

Despicable people who cheat to make quick profits give honest and sincere business owners a bad name.

When setting up any kind of business, always remember that honesty is the best policy and it really does go a long way.

We need to take care of our consumers because without them, we will NOT even have a business in the first place.

Yes, cheating can guarantee you quick profits but your business will NOT last long.

People will find out about the scam somehow or rather.

But when you are honest, your business will definitely thrive for an extremely long time.

Back from Hiatus

I have not updated my blog for ages now.

It is not that I'm lazy, it's just that I have been really busy lately.

Busy with what you may ask?

I have been cleaning, scrubbing and sweeping my house non-stop - especially now that I am having my winter break!

For some reason, I feel that I have to make use of the time left to maintain the cleanliness of the house before BamBim is born.
