Don't open a restaurant if you can't cook.

Chicken - I can be better than this.

Can you imagine paying $10 for this dish of crispy chicken??

I'm sorry but I was extremely dissappointed!

The chicken looked like leftovers being fried for the second time.

It was ridiculous!

MyBudakTapai and I thought it would be a great idea to have dinner at this Malay restaurant located at Far East Plaza but look at what we were being served.

I mean the very least the chef can do was to maybe coat it with some flour and breadcrumbs or something?

I mean how difficult can that be right?

I was so disgusted by the presentation that I just ate 1 piece from that dish and left 3/4 of fried rice untouched.

Not forgotten, just busy.

I absolutely canNOT wait to tell you about my recent honey-cation (honeymoon + vacation, just in case you're wondering. Heh) .

But ever since we came back, my trusted oven and mixer have been "working" non-stop and the smell of cakes does not seem to go away.

Not that anyone's complaining.

Anyhow, an entry on our trip to downunder will be pretty soon.

Homeward Bound.

A few days ago, I posted an entry while awaiting to board the plane from Singapore.

Now, I post this entry while awaiting our flight back to reality.

MyBudakTapai hates the mid-winter weather but i simply love it.

How can I not right?

I complain about the blazing sun back home so of course I would be ecstatic to have the cold, icy wind in Gold Coast.

Other than the weather, both of us would definitely miss the "Hey yeah, how ya doin?", "No worries, mate.", ever-ready adult entertainment (if you know what I mean. *wink* *wink*), UGG Australian-made winter boots and having a chance to finally get our jacketrs out of the closet and to good use.

Nonetheless, we are grateful.

Alhamdullillah.

Grateful for the chance to go on the trip and see a culture so different from ours and weather nothing like our own.

Alhamdullillah.

Kengkawanz, pray that we will reach Singapore safe and sound.
