Tummy tuck

Babydoll dresses are in style.

Pregnant or not, women of all marital status love the comfort and freedom of wearing a babydoll dress - especially yours truly.

Earlier today, I went for my Professional Development (As much as I love being around children, a little break from them is much, much appreciated. Thank you.) wearing my simple but comfortable brown, spaghetti-strapped babydoll dress to school.

Though simple, my favourite babydoll dress possess the power to encourage others to be kind.

My babydoll dress is so powerful that a lady, an extremely kind individual, offered ME a seat -while SiBudakTapai and I were on board the effing crowded Bus No. 105!!

I was not sure whether to laugh or give her a tight slap.

Anyhow, SiBudakTapai was right.

At least, she was sensitive and observant. She should be given credit for that.

So I decided to just laugh it off.

Oh well.

Lesson learn - If you would like to sit in a crowded train or bus ride, wear a babydoll dress AND most importantly, have a tummy.

Good day, jolly people!

Not flying high

From Discover My space...
You don't have to be a genius to guess it right

No prize for correct interpretation of the picture above.

Everyone has been fussing about it even months after it was first launched.

"Eh, kau dah naik?"

"Eh, best tau!"

"You should go ah. Gerek siak. Naik masa sunset. Romantic tau!"

With my digicam in tow, we set off in the hopes of being able to view the whole of Singapore during sunset.

Tired but excited, we looked at the giant windmill from afar.

We were foolish not to expect the number of people obediently queing up for a chance at the bird's eye view of the island - even with the skyhigh (No pun intended) priced tickets.

These people and....

Could you see the throngs of human bodies?

.... and these people

And more in this picture

....were queing up for the Singapore Flyer!

Masya Allah.

By the time it’s our turn to get on the flyer, it will probably be midnight!

Forget it!

After hours of walking and with the cramps I was experiencing, we took off and head on to Popeye's at airport. Lagi sedap.

But before we boarded Bus No. 36....

Supaya tak kempunan. Hehe..

.... just so we can have a teeny, weeny taste of the real thang!

Till then, this will have to do.

Runny clothes

Maybe it's just bad timing.

Each wash will (always) cause the colour in oneof my best outfit to run.

It's frustrating!

What a way to start my Thursday, huh.

I think I should start doing my own laundry from now on.

I'm getting a bit fed up with it.

Drowning in my workload

Each time I crossed out one item from my To-Do list, four more items will be added.

That's the life of an educator. Our work will never cease until the school term is completed.

Only then can we relax. In fact, I will have two whole months to wake up each morning and do absolutely nothing.

Insya Allah.

Simply can’t wait for that.

Like a true PROfessional

An honest conversation with your working partner regarding the delegation of tasks can turn out to be a huge dispute if not handled properly.

Fortunately, I have been partnered with an open-minded and sensible lead teacher this year.

Alhamdullillah.

Not everyone works and think the same way. Some people are very easy to work with while others can have pretty high expectations at times.

Nonetheless, having high expectations can be a good thing at times.

A person with a positive attitude will see that as a reason to spur them on to greater heights and try to reach their fullest potential.

Staying positive during difficult times can be quite a feat at times but I am trying.

I have to say that I am quite proud of myself for having the courage to initiate the conversation about how I truly feel with regards to delegation of tasks in my current working relationship.

Tactful and respectful of others' feeling but at the same time, I still can get my message across.

It’s only fair that my partner be given the chance to have a think after hearing my views on the matter.

To be frank, I feel extremely relieved.

It's like a giant load has been lifted off my shoulders. Honestly.

For a while, I couldn't feel as happy though I was smiling.

Whatever her response will be, I am ready for it.

I am just grateful that I was granted the courage to speak my mind.

Alhamdullillah.

Eid Mubarak

We ARE still in the month of Syawal so it is not considered late for me to say Salam Lebaran to all of my Muslim brothers and sisters.

From Discover My space...

Enjoy the time with your loved ones.
