Bin It!

Christmas for the year 2007 is all about being environmentally friendly (Even MTV is doing it).

So rather than painting on brand new canvases, local artistic talents decide to display fabulous artworks on...dustbins.

Her: "Sayang, I wanna take pictures of the cool dustbins ah."
Him: "Huh? For what sey? Nothing better to do ah. Amik gambar tong sampah."
Her: "Eh hello, dis is called appreciating art, okay."

And so we walked around Orchard Road admiring dustbins that's been given a makeover.

My theory was: the dustbin that had the most garbage is the best-looking dustbin of them all.

So we saved our rubbish for that winning bin.

And hence, our BIN QUEST begins...

After almost 10 minutes of walking and snapping dustbins while others gave me weird looks, we finally found the winner.

Stinky!

Even with the frequent heavy rains during this monsoon season, the local weather can get very hot and humid.

It can be (almost) freezing in the morning but blazing hot in the afternoon.

But some people take the cold weather as an excuse NOT to shower in the morning!

And boy, do they stink!

Hygiene aside, taking showers in the morning (if you're living in Singapore, at least) can be seen as a sign of consideration.

Bear a thought to the other train commuters who had to endure your stench when they stand next to you - every morning!

Already it is impossible to find a spot to rest my cute bum during the half-hour ride, I had to endure the stinking body odour of that tapai next to me!?!

ARGH! Gimme a break!

Shower for goodness sake! Shower!

It's not like it will ever snow in Singapore so don't expect for the temperature to go anywhere near freezing point.

Shesh!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

I don't mind MyBabyLuv's passion for football - eventhough I know nuts about the sport.

I don't even mind following him to the occassional football matches.

But what I DO mind is when his passion for the sport meant that we have to be miles and miles apart - eventhough it's just for a few days.

That I mind! A lot!
