What with the crazy price hikes everywhere, especially movie tickets, we found an alternative.

Grab any opportunity that entitles you to any FREE movie - and yes, the keyword is FREE.

So what would two inidivduals who are the typical Singaporeans do when they saw the "F" word?

They packed a whole bag (Well, ermmmm, he carried the bag - she just held his hand..) of tidbits (and yes, the heavy bag full of junk food. Her poor BabyLuv.), boarded Bus No.105 and headed down to Botanical Gardens to witness the finale of movie screeening in conjunction with the National Family Week of 2007.

Phew! That was a mouthful.

The two individuals as well as thousands others gathered at Botanical Gardens to watch Happy Feet.

Yes, they endured the heat just to watch a bunch of penguins danced (and sang) like humans - oh, and yes, for the FREE picnic mat too, of course.

He was worried she would not enjoy it because it was too simple.

Does she look like she's not enjoying herself?

I don't think so!

I like it simple, remember? *wink*

We all have choice so Choose Wisely.

What you see is NOT exactly what you get.

The hand that is holding the girl's waist also belongs to a girl.

I am NOT condoning same-gender relationship nor am I criticising it.

All I know is that it's wrong...and worst of all, it's becoming more and more popular - especially amongst Muslim youths.

I believe that everyone has a choice and our Creator has never made a mistake and HE never will.

We are not mistakes.

We were created perfectly.

But what matters is that the boy is hers.

Just one piece of advice

Sand in My Hand

I have sand in hand.

How should I hold it?

I was determined I knew the right

way to hold the sand in my hand.

But really, I have no clue.

So I'll just enjoy the roughness of the

grains of sand that is in my hand.

I am insulted.

It was probably the thousandth time it happened to me.

I am not being racist or anything but it is extremely annoying.

A Chinese Christian lady came up to me earlier today at AMK Hub, while I was minding my own business and waiting for MyBabyLuv.

Maybe it was the way I dressed.

Maybe it was the way I looked.

I don't know.

Anyways, she smiled, came up to me and said, "Hi, I'm a Christian. Can I give you something to read?"

Luckily, she did not persevered after I politely rejected her offer.

Nonetheless, I find that very, very insulting.

Religion is not like sales.

I find her method to get people into Christianity very misleading and inappropriate.

You don't just walk around in an attempt to promote the religion.

It is not a product that needs to be sold and hence, promotion is key to make sure it gets sold to any random person.

It should be done willingly, not because a person was lured into it.

3rd Month Anniversary

On our third month anniversary,
I went to Batam on a ferry.

Never once did I not think about you,
Because of that, there were times that I did got quite blue. * sad face *

It's All In the Family

What better way to start off the summer holidays by bonding with your family.

And so I did just that.

We may not have travelled to Europe or U.S of A or anyplace exotic but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless - even if it's just to Batam. Heh.

Ate seafood, pampered ourselves with cheapass spa packages, got darker (Yes, Batam is very much warmer that Singapore. Believe it or not, it is.) and spoke a lot of Indonesian - for me at least.



No fights, no siblings rivalry or none of that negativities that never fail to separate us.

Just pure, family bonding.

Alhamdullillah.

But just one thing though.

I hate ferry rides. Yuck!
