Absolute Insensitivity

A dear friend of mine was greatly affected by a baseless conclusion made by a stranger on his blog.

"unfortunately, it still stand true that when girls reach their mid
20s, and no possible suitors, u'll be very close to be left on the shelves.."

What does he base that theory on? Nothing.

Who the heck is he to make such statement? A nobody.

Does he have the right to make such conclusion in the first place? Heck no!

I seriously hate it when people say negative things without thinking about how it could affect those who read their blogs. Personally, I believe that as a blogger, it is very important that we send out positive vibes in every issue that we touch on.

The World Wide Web makes the globe much, much smaller. Thousands (or maybe even millions) of people could chance upon your blog each day. One can never know for sure the state of the mind the reader is in at the moment of reading one's blog.

Just imagine the kind of impact the statement above will have on a depressed reader who coincidentally is in her mid-twenties and just broke up with her boyfriend or has been single for as long as she can remember. I don't think she will log off the Internet feeling great about herself.

I may not be able to do much to help my fellow human beings but the least bit I can do is to spread positivity, determination and belief in God.

By the way, my dear friend, please don’t be sadden by the baseless conclusion. It is nothing but mere thoughtless theory. Jodoh dan pertemuan di tangan ALLAH s.w.t.. You of all people should have a strong belief that HE has a much better plan for you. All you need is patience.

On a fine, fine Monday

I don't know what started this feeling.

But I feel horrid.

I do.

I just feel miserable and low at the moment.

I was accused of not being a true friend - just because I don't call people as often as I should.

I am always hungry for the past few weeks.

I am always craving for oily, unhealthy food.

I just cannot stop munching.

I feel bloated.

I (think) I look fat in my clothes nowadays.

Maybe that's because I have gained 1 kilogram!!

ARGH!

I just feel so darn horrid right now!

And fat!!

ARGH!

I know this sounds very narcissistic. Maybe the world does not revolve around me but I still do feel horrid.

Welcome to my life.

End of Spring Break

This always happen to me.

Before any holiday, I will have a whole list of to-do things - only to end up doing NONE of the things I initially planned to do.

This Spring Break was no different. Heh.

I did not manage to tick off many items on my To-Do list.

But one To-Do item definitely got ticked off - to go to Batam with 5 other xiao ting tong and shop like crazy

Frankly, I was slightly nervous initially because I do not quite know the other 3 people on the trip (besides NazilahMengumpatPartner and BabyLuv).

Anyhow, all I can say is that I am feeling pretty dumb thinking that way because those 3 inidividuals are so much fun to hang out with.

I am so blessed to have been introduced to them.

A huuuuge thank you to NazilahMengumpatPartner for counting me in on the trip.

Alhamdullillah.

Eventhough I have to bring forward many To-Do items to the next long holiday, I have to admit that this Spring Break was well-spent!

But at the moment, you're her misery.

My prayers are with the families of the two Coast Guard officers who died recently.

What saddens me the most is that they were both not meant to be on duty at the time of the accident.

As an outsider, I cannot say that I know how it feels to be in the shoes of the loved ones that the two officers left behind.

But I am certain that I will experience that same situation one fine day - as much as I hope I will not have to.
